One of the main jaw droppers when in Rajasthan, and especially in Pushkar during the fair, is the great variety and size of turbans on men. When we were first in Pushkar, back in 1980, we used to go down to a quiet and peaceful sunset view spot over the lake (it was a real lake then), where there was a little chai stall, and local men would come nearby and lay their turbans out to dry - all 20-30 meters of turban! Not sure how long some of these turbans below are, but we find them fascinating.
